Did Dean just learn how to tie Windsor knots recently or sommat? He looks like Dean Smith every week and it is KILLING ME. Hnnng.
I have a serious bone to pick about something that happened during 6x10, that has nothing to do with an outcry about OOC or gratuitous demon snogging or Cas watching porn. Enough people have wanked on about that already. What I want to express is how seriously wrong one particular scene during this episode was. It involves a knife, and it should have a lot more women upset.

Spoilers for 6x10 ahead. )
A couple people have asked about the actual lyrics to the song that inspired my WIP, Chwarae'n Troi'n Chwerw (When Play Turns Bitter), so I thought I'd include them here and just reference this post in the Author's Notes, since it is actually a beautiful song and one of my favourites. Plus, the lyrics suit Dean's post-apocalypse life kind of perfectly.

Who makes an X-Files episode without using Skinner!? It's not like they don't have him on the freaking payroll. Jeez, Gamble. Not doing a whole lot to restore my faith.

Except that 6x09 was pretty awesome. I'm not going to spoil anything here, but it was a pretty fantastic return to form for the SPN crew.
TITLE: "Not All Dogs Go to Heaven" - Part 3/3
AUTHOR:
[info]nanoochka
CHARACTERS: Dean/Castiel, Sam, Crowley, Gramps Campbell
RATING: Hard R for violence, gore, swearing, and sex
SUMMARY: Two weird cases, two different locations: Sam and Dean are forced to split up when calls from Samuel and Cas divide their attention between Iowa and Michigan, thinking that they might be dealing with two separate cases of Alphas. Although Cas is supposedly there to help, Dean's lost trust in the angel's priorities in the past year, and can't help but feel that he's running interference as Dean discovers that the rash of brutal animal slayings in the town of Springville are a symptom of something truly perverse.
